- Lord Byron (English Poet) In a recent conversation, a friend reminded me of an incident that had been frightening when it happened but now seems hilarious. We all have those experiences that are frightening or embarrassing at the time, but, when seen through the perspective of time, become funny.
You can write about something that happened at home, school, work … anywhere. As long as you can look back on the situation and find the humor that you couldn’t see before, it’s fair game. I’m looking forward to some good laughs.

I would love to add a story to this, but I am probably the only person who can laugh about it…sort of…send me your email address and I’ll send you the piece…that is if you wish to read it.
Take care!

I’d love to read it, Pfunk … and I’ll bet others would, too. You can click on the “contact me” link near the top of the sidebar for my e-mail address.

I’d love to do this, but I’d rather not post it on my personal blog, because there is no reason to bring it up
But I could write up a great little story and send it to you possibly
Love the blog, just found it…I have been trying to do my own short stories on my site and just started “Running” and am two chapters in.
Mike,
You’re the second person who said they would like to write a story but didn’t want it on their blog. Maybe I need to create a post of stories that people send me.
I just visitied your Web site and read your short story. You’re off to a great start, and I can’t wait to read more.
Yeah, if you do that, I’ll try to write it up…are you looking for more of a funny recap of an embarrassing situation? Or something in a story format?
My intention was that the situation be true, but it can be written however you like. A story format would be great - the more entertaining, the better.
My whole blog is filled with these stories….
but I’ll try to get a new one up…
Heather,
Your comment led me to your blog, and I subscribed to your feed. I’m sure you can come up with something wonderful!

Mine’s up!
Great story, Heather! I’m so glad you participated and gave us a good laugh. You made me remember some stupid things I did as a teenager, and I’m sure other readers will also recall some of their own. When we shake our heads at teens today, we only have to think about our own teen years …
I love wordvixen’s story.
Hi Linden man,
wordvixen’s story was a good one.
