Praying over Bible

Isaiah 9:6-7 (KJV)
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

These beautiful words, in the King James Version that I memorized as a child, tell us of the coming of Jesus. They predicted his birth as a tiny baby—born as one of us. They also foretell His Second Coming, when he rule forever and ever. That small infant will come again as the mighty God! Maranatha, Lord Jesus. Come quickly.

Lord, thank You for sending Jesus to earth as a human like us to pay the penalty for our sins so that when He comes again we will rule with Him forever and ever. In His name. Amen.
