Psalm 104:1-4

Bless the Lord, O my soul!
O Lord my God, You are very great;
You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
Covering Yourself with light as with a cloak,
Stretching out heaven like a tent curtain.
He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters;
He makes the clouds His chariot;
He walks upon the wings of the wind;
He makes the winds His messengers,
Flaming fire His ministers.

The magnitude of God is beyond our human comprehension. Not only is He clothed in splendor and majesty, but He is so powerful that He can walk on the wings of the wind and make the winds and flaming fire His messengers and ministers. His glory shines so brightly that Moses had to cover his face after standing before the Lord because just being in the presence of God made Moses’ face shine so brightly the Israelites were afraid to look at it. Imagine how much more God’s glory shines! Let us worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Lord God, You are so great we can’t even begin to realize how great You are. We worship You. We praise You. We glorify You. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
