On Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who have given their lives in the service of our country.
I remember a friend from college who was killed in Vietnam. On a trip to Washington, D.C., I visited the Wall and made a rubbing of his name.
So many wives, husbands, parents, children, and other loved ones have an empty seat at their family table because a military member made the ultimate sacrifice so we can remain free. God bless them all.
