Isaiah 7:14-15 (ESV)
14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15 He shall eat curds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good.
Thank You, Lord, for telling Your people to expect Immanuel, God with Us, long before Jesus appeared on the earth. Thank You for telling us in Your word that He will return in glory long before the Second Coming so we have time to prepare. Help us to be ready for Jesus’ return. In His name. Amen.
