Wednesday after Advent 3

Isaiah 52:7
How lovely on the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who announces peace
And brings good news of happiness,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

The Gospel is good news! We can have peace by putting our faith in the Lord. We can be happy knowing we are saved and that our God reigns. Those who bring us the good news of the Gospel bless us. Thank God for ministers and priests, for evangelists and Bible teachers, for Christians who share the Gospel with others. May we be among those who bring the good news of Jesus to those around us.

Thank You, Lord, for those who bring good news—Old Testament prophets who foretold Jesus centuries before He came to earth; John the Baptist who prepared the way of the Lord; Jesus Christ Himself who gave us the good news through His life, death, and resurrection; the apostles and Church Fathers; ministers and missionaries; and everyone who tells others about You. Give us hearts for evangelism and the courage and words to share Your Gospel. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
