A 50% off on books is more than a decent discount. Do they offer ebooks as well ? I would like to get some new stuff for my Kindle as I’m bored right now and could use some fine reading.

Smashwords sells ONLY ebooks, and they do have books in Kindle format. All of my ebooks are available for Kindle, and most of the ebooks at Smashwords are also. You can stock up on a lot of reading material during the sale and have plenty of great reading on your Kindle for a long time to come.
I’d never heard of Smashwords previous to this, Lillie. How do the earnings and traffic here compare to Amazon? Have you tried publishing on Amazon as well?

I have books on Amazon Kindle as well as Smashwords. The best part about Smashwords is that they distribute to Apple, Kobo, Sony, Barnes & Noble,and many other places in formats for ereaders and smartphones and other devices. I sell more books through Smashwords than Amazon, but most of the sales actually come from the other distributors,not the Smashwords site directly.
This is a really good chance. I had to say that I am really interested in reading your book which named Dream or Destiny. The prices are very reasonable though.I do have android phone and it has a e-book section. I was wondering how do I make sure this format will fit my android system?

Dream or Destiny is not one of the discounted books because it is controlled by my publisher. But I hope you will read the book anyway!
It depends on what program your phone uses for ebooks. Smashwords lists the different formats and some of the common devices they work on.
