Scripture for the Second Wednesday in Lent

February 24, 2010 by Lillie

The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. ~ Luke 11:32

Almighty God, the men of Nineveh repented when they heard Jonah’s preaching. How much more powerful, O Lord, is the testimony of Jesus Christ. I repent of all my sins and beg Your forgiveness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  3. A good sign that you’re in need of doing some repenting is if your back goes up at the thought of repenting.
