Thanks, John. I’m sure you’ve written about a zillion, give or take. You’ve been at this a long time, and at various times you’ve been a prolific blogger. I don’t know why you would delete posts—yours are all great.
Congratulations on your 700th post! That’s an amazing achievement … I’m about 685 behind you, which I’m not terribly proud to say. You’ve shown a lot of dedication ( while making books, no less ) to go along with your erudition and eloquence.
Thanks, Forrest, but your blog posts include your beautiful photography so I know a lot more work goes into each one than into one of my posts.
I bet it’s about the same amount … my art is visual, yours is verbal. My guess is fighting “writers block” is every bit as challenging – if not moreso – than lugging a heavy tripod around.

Thanks, Tom. You can’t start out thinking in terms of hundreds (someday thousands) of posts. You have to think of one post at a time—just like recovering alcoholics have to think of one day of sobriety at a time.
