      So often people associate Valentine’s Day only with romantic love, but, as you say, it’s a great day to celebrate all kinds of love.

    It’s the holiday you either love or hate. Depending if you’re in love or not. My empathy goes out to all those looking for love, I hope you all find it.

      I hope everyone looking for love finds it also. But even those who aren’t in a romantic relationship can celebrate love of family and friends.

      This is so true. My heart bleeds for those looking for love around this time of year. It must be gut wrenching seeing all the promotion Valentine’s day gets when you’re not fortunate enough to be with someone you love.

        Stu,

        I’m sure it can be difficult. However, the best way to avoid feeling sorry for yourself is to do something for someone else. Visit a nursing home, help a single mom, or just get together with other people who don’t have a romantic partner to do something fun.

    One of my favorite occasions is the love month. Coupled with Valentine’s Day, I also want to greet everyone especially the Chinese a Happy New Year of the Metal Tiger.

    Happy Valentines Day Lillie, I hope you had a great time.
    What did you end up doing? We had a nice romantic meal in this year and snuggled up with a movie and a bottle or 2 of wine.

    Yes, you are absolutely right about that.

    I went out with my sisters. My oldest sister’s husband is in Iraq so it was very nice for the 3 of us to spend some time together.
