Bryan,

You may want to get started—David has the third book in the series coming out soon. :-)

Russell,

Glad you enjoyed the interview. Even though you're not a big fan of fiction, if you like history, you would probably enjoy David's books.

I really enjoyed this interview. I'm not a big fiction reader, but I certainly appreciate the motivation to generate interest among family members when it was found that there was little "color" among David's ancestors. I think that combining the framework of existing ancestors with some fictional exploits must have been an enjoyable exercise.

Sean,

David's stories are sagas, as in this definition: "Also called saga novel. a form of the novel in which the members or generations of a family or social group are chronicled in a long and leisurely narrative."

They are stories of a family and are appropriate for family members of all ages in that there is nothing graphic that children shouldn't read. However, they are written on a high school reading level and would probably not be understood by or interesting to young children.

Teenagers and adults, though, enjoy them.
