I certainly believe in human rights for everyone, and I know there have been many abuses in the treatment of the mentally ill and even people who are just different throughout history. However, there has to be a balance between protecting the rights of troubled people and protecting the lives of others. Steve,

I hope in the future, we can do a better job of paying attention to these kinds of warning signs.
