Lillie’s Q&A at Ask Wendy
May 27, 2009 by Lillie
This seems to be my week for interviews. Today, I answer ten questions for Wendy Burt-Thomas on her blog Ask Wendy – The Query Queen. I hope you’ll stop by and say hello.
In a few weeks, I’ll be interviewing Wendy about her latest book about writing query letters. If you’re not a subscriber to my blog, you may want to subscribe now so you won’t miss this post.

I’m so burned up to wait interviewing Wendy. Please publish ASAP lol

You’ll have to burn a little while longer.
Wendy’s interview won’t be published for nearly a month.
Wow! Did “Cars Review” really say he’s burned up waiting for my interview? I fear I’ll be way too boring now. Must make sure I’m revved up so as not to disappoint! ; )

Wendy,
Nothing like a little performance pressure to get the adrenalin flowing, right?
Great interview! I loved the part about your average day. Good to know I’m not the only one who sometimes gets day and night a little bit backwards!
It is true, as a copywriter and internet marketing consultant I spend a lot of my day writing – and it is WAY easier to do once you’ve cleared out your inbox and your voicemail. It kind of “clears your head” for the work day (or night) to come.
Nice blog, too by the way!
Cheryl,
Thanks for reading the interview and commenting. I’m glad to hear of the similarities in the way we work. Either I’m not nuts or there are at least two of us nuts.
Lillie, I’ve already read the interview at Wendy’s blog! Gosh, I discovered some other interesting stuffs when I read through the interview!

wilson,
Thanks for reading the interview and commenting.
I am definitely going to subscribe for this, and I am a freelance writer who spend all of my day writing, so it is completely understandable to confuse day with night
C,
Glad I’m not the only person who confuses day and night.:-)
Thanks for the interview! It was very informative and an interesting ready.

Carl,
Glad you enjoyed it and hoped you left a comment on Wendy’s blog as well.
Classic interview. I loved the bit about the average day. It seemed like for once you were actually interested in the answers, so many interviewers just want to fire out their questions. Good interview.
Amy,
I enjoyed the interview. Wendy asks good questions.
Amy,
I always want to hear what other writers’ days are like. There’s just something about those descriptions that makes me feel like I’m not alone while I write.

Wendy,
It is always reassuring to find other writers are as weird as we are, isn’t it?
The way I figure, if we’re ALL weird, then we’re not really weird, right?
Reminds me of this old (Gary Larson?) cartoon: Big banner in a convention hall that said, “Welcome A.C.N.P. – Adult Children of Normal Parents” – and there were two people sitting in the audience…

Hey, Wendy, you’re right. We must be normal.
I got a kick of the image your description of the cartoon evoked.
The interview was really interesting…am i normal..i wonder?
Syracuse (if you wrote YourName@Keywords, I could address you as a real person, and you would still get your keyword link),
Are you writer? If so, you’re probably weird … which is normal for writers.
