Guest Post at Confident Writing

May 13, 2009 by Lillie

Today I have a guest post at Confident Writing on Stick-to-it-iveness.

Joanna Young is conducting a writing seminar in Sardinia–don’t you feel sorry for her? :-) During her absence, she invited other bloggers to guest post on the themes she has covered so far this year. Of course, I chose writing and tenacity.

I hope you’ll stop over at Confident Writing and say hi.

Nice work, Lillie. I left a comment on the blog too. Most definitely, you have to have plenty of intestinal fortitude to survive freelancing, especially during these challenging times.

Thanks for the comments, Matt. Freelancing does require tenacity as do many other occupations.

I love the term, “Stick-to-it-iveness”. Would you mind terribly if I linked to this post and linked to the Confident Writing post as well?

I think it fits good with the whole job search thing.

P.S. I had no idea you were from Texas as well. I was just in San Antone 2 weekends ago.

Sean,

I’d love for you to link to the posts. Stick-to-it-iveness is certainly important in the job search.

Where in Texas are you?

C,

I got that from my mother. As far as I know, she coined the word; if she got it from someone else, she used it enough to make it hers. :-)
