Happy Valentine’s Day to you, too, Bluestocking.

Not sure if it’s my computer/browser or if there is a problem with your post, but I can see only part of it. It seems to cut off the in the middle.

I did. We had a special date and an enjoyable movie together. Valentines day is really special for us.

Minnesota (if you wrote YourName@Keywords, I could address you as a real person, and you would still get your keyword link),

Glad you had a great Valentine’s Day … but it’s a little hard to envision Minnesota Attorney enjoying a romantic evening. :-)

Daniel,

Drat!

Oh well… maybe it’s a good thing. My husband tends to think he should be my only Valentine. :-)

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m not a huge celebrator of the day, but I’m no scrooge. I bought one of the amazingly beautiful custom valentine’s for James and he made dinner for me last night.

how (if you wrote YourName@Keywords, I could address you as a real person, and you would still get your keyword link),

I’m glad you and James had a lovely Valentine’s Day. Having someone cook dinner for you is always romantic … but it seems that it would be more romantic with James and YourName instead of James and howtoimport. :-)

Valentine is the name of the great lover.Valentines day is for all the lovers in the world. It is the great day for each and everyone who are in love.

Joslyn,

Actually I believe Valentine is the name of two Christian martyrs. One was said to be a priest who married couples against the law because the emperor thought single men made better soldiers. Legend has it that one of them wrote a note to the jailer’s daughter—whom he was either love with or whom he had healed—the night before he was executed and signed it “from your Valentine.”

But regardless of whether the original Valentine was a lover or a priest, the day definitely is a day for lovers.

I was going to comment that you seem to be one of the kindest people I’ve run across on the web. But your reply shows me that you are a pretty smart cookie as well. Happy Valentine’s Day.

Dana,

Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad you said “smart cookie” and not “smart aleck.” :-)

Valentines day is one of those ‘happy holidays’. Just like Thanksgiving and x-mas it just has a happy atmosphere around it!

Happy late Valentines, glad this year went off without a hitch.

Always funny to see how many guys are all standing around the V-day cards on V-day at Target. Good place to check for any husband/boyfriends if you think they may be super last minute shoppers : P

Sam,

Your comment gave me a chuckle. I can just picture the card section of Target or any store at the end of Valentine’s Day with frantic men trying to find the perfect card. :-)
