I try really hard to not judge books by their covers, but when you're in a bookstore or a library and trying to pick one book out of hundreds, a catchy cover really can make a difference. Now that I have the internet and can get recommendations from like-minded readers, I find that I don't rely on cover art as much as when I was younger. That was really interesting, and it explains why books and covers don’t always match.
