I have written a couple of Christian books (actually manuscripts) but never did get them published. I came close a couple of times but it seems pretty difficult to get published if you do not have a built in audience as it is a business and they are also interested in their bottom line.

It’s really hard to get Christian books published. Most Christian publishers require an agent or find manuscripts through a paid listing service. Sometimes authors of Christian books bypass the Christian publishers and bookstores and self-publish or publish with companies that aren’t specifically Christian. My clients, the Taylors, published with a small publisher and sell most of their books when they speak at churches.
