Hi Lillie – What a moving video. And a lovely gesture to send thanks and support to American troops on Independence day.
America, in general always seems far more patriotic than the UK.
Cath,
America is generally very patriotic. I have many friends who are in the military or who have been, and I know what sacrifices they make so I’m always glad to show support whenever I can.
A very great videoclip. Thank you for sharing. Very emotional.
Yes, Gerda, it is very emotional and touching … and a great reminder that military families make sacrifices just as military members do.
Lillie, I had not heard this song or seen this video. I cried my way through the whole thing! That was beautiful, and so true.
Living here at Fort Hood, we have many mothers and children in our church and community who are missing Daddy – over in Iraq and other places. So many have given their lives! I am so grateful to all who serve in our armed forces.

Renae,
People who aren’t around the military often don’t realize what great sacrifices the families make so the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines can make their own sacrifices. It’s really a family commitment.
Wonderful video indeed. Heads-of to all the military troops who have sacrificed their families and everything for the sake of their nation’s pride. Thanks a lot

I’m glad you enjoyed the video and appreciate the sacrifices of the military and their families.
This song is SO heartbreaking…
I think you have chosen the right one for this theme.
Thank you a lot
Mercy,
The song really does deliver a powerful message and makes us feel the sacrifices the families of our military make.
Thanks for this Lillie- I haven’t seen this one before. Fabulous! ~Karen

Karen,
I’m glad you like the song and video as much as I do.
The war is hurted. But, why it never end.
Chan Sui,
We all are praying that it ends soon, but in the meantime – and even in peacetime – I want to honor people who are willing to sacrifice their own lives for the cause of freedom.
Our men and women who are out there are truly brave. Hopefully it will end soon. We have sacrificed enough. Thank you for posting this video.
Katie,
Brave and noble. We’re all praying the war ends soon, but our military will still be sacrificing for our freedom, though not with as much risk as they face now.
this song is very patriotic. the soldiers are great they tire themselves day & night for the peoples protection

We can’t ever repay the soldiers for what they do, but at least we can let them know we appreciate it.
Great video! The lyrics really show how our freedoms are fought for every day by the brave men and women who serve our country. These people sacrifice every day for the people they love. There are a lot of great resources on the web that help veterans every day, but a truly inspired site devoted to the honoring of and assistance to veterans is PostMilitary.com. Feel free to check out the ways that this website assists veterans around the country.
Stephen,
Our active duty military personnel and veterans deserve all the honor and assistance we can give them.
Nice video. God bless all of us and whole world.
