		<description>Amen, Lillie. The minute you low-ball your own bid, you set up a standard you cannot continue meeting. Come in at your regular rate, offer a one-time discount, or just don't bid if your terms don't match the employer's expectations. I "won over" a client once by offering a ridiculously low bid for his website copy. He referred his mother and her business partner. When I gave her a competitive bid, she bolted. What I won from him was this - "She's good and she's cheap."

Just the image my mother would be proud of, eh? :))</description>
