This is the most powerful rendition of Amazing Grace I’ve ever heard along with a fascinating bit of history about Negro spirituals, white spirituals, and the “slave scale.”

    I’m not sure who Samuel L. Jackson is or what he has to do with this rendition of Amazing Grace by Whitley Phipps, but this rendition is really powerful.
