Thanks, June, for giving us an international perspective. I hadn't thought about that.

Thank you Lillie for posting this wonderful article and giving so much publicity and also endorsement to Jerry's idea. I have not had the opportunity to meet Jerry in person, since I live on the opposite continent (England to be precise). The only thing then that I would add to the comments already made is that this is an international community and anyone can join - you do not have to live in the United States or even North America. In these days of internet book selling books are after all available all over the world at the click of a mouse, regardless of where the author lives and in which country the book was published.

The world really does though need a community like this - where one can quickly and easily find independently published books - which I might add more and more authors are now producing - for their own reasons. The only site I have come across in England that is anywhere like this insists that you provide them with a free copy of the book, and ship them yourself instead of linking via amazon direct to the customer, in return for the online store taking a 30 percent cut! With Jerry, because the books are sold via existing channels (ie by linking to the publishers site/amazon etc) the author pays precisely nothing - hence the name Nothing Binding!
