He Is Risen! He Is Risen, Indeed! Alleluia!
April 8, 2007 by Lillie
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. he is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” (Matthew 28:5-7, NIV)

Vahsek and Annie,
Thanks for visiting and for the comments. I look forward to reading more of both of your blogs.
Great post. Many people don’t invest in a religious side on their site and you obviously are different. I enjoy the site.
Thank you, Cade.
In the midst of all the commercialism surrounding Christmas, I love hearing about the true gospel! Isn’t this why we celebrate? We give gifts to demonstrate in the physical the ultimate give Christ gave us in the spiritual. Great article!

JCL,
It’s good to realize that the word Christmas came from the words Christ’s Mass, with Mass meaning sending out. We are to be sending Christ out into the world by our witness. That too often gets lost in buying gifts, rushing to parties, and other involvement in the secular world.
What a pleasant surprise to come across a blog post on Jesus! Quite refreshing actually. Keep on posting these types of posts and I will read your stuff when I need a boost of the good side…
David,
If you check out my archives by category, you will see that close to 20% of my posts are labeled in the Christian category.
