Young Winners Become Published Authors in EPIC’s Second Annual New Voices Contest

March 1, 2007 by Lillie

After several difficult rounds of judging, the winners of the EPIC New Voices writing contest for middle school and high school students have been announced.

Forty-four prizes will be awarded to forty winners – some students placed in more than one category.

Congratulations to the winners! And to the many students who entered but didn’t place, congratulations for having the courage and initiative to enter. Many excellent entries didn’t place because the overall quality of entries was so high. Students will receive score sheets and comments from three judges, which they can use to improve their writing and enter again next year. The winning entries will be published in EPIC New Voices 2007, which will be available for free download.
