Book Review: Miracle of Miracles
December 10, 2006 by Lillie
I posted a review of the book Miracle of Miracles: A Muslim Woman’s Conversion to Christ And Flight from the Perils of Islam by Mina Nevisa with Jim Croft.
If the following snippet of the review intrigues you, read the complete review at Book Reviews from Christian E-Authors.
Miracle of Miracles reminds us that all Christians must pray for persecuted Christians and for the salvation of Muslims. The threat of radical Islam can best be met by spreading the Gospel to those in the dark. Muslims practice a religion of harsh rules, submission, and violence. Christians have a personal relationship with a loving Savior who offers eternal life.
I have to ask myself: Could I stand up to persecution for my faith? I pray so.

Thanks for the reviews. I have read this book quite some time ago and found it to have an interesting perspective on muslim life.

Karlynn,
What impressed me was that it was a personal testimony of what one person experienced.
Thank you for the review Lillie. Books that deal with Christian experiences are usually very interesting. A personal favorite of mine (and a tip if you haven’t read it already) is The Road Less Traveled by Scott Peck. A fascinating tidbit is that the author writes this book in the role of a Buddhist, and then a sequel when he has found his way back to Christianity. Both books are very good though and well worth a read.

Jeremy,
Thanks for the tip. I’ve heard of Scott Peck’s book but not read it. And I didn’t know the Buddhism to Christianity story.
Yes, my mother has been wanting me to read this book for a while now. It sounds like a good read- very courageous of her.
