I am glad to see you mentioning NaNoWriMo. It is indeed a pretty way to brainstorm as you say. For me, it is a way for the new writers to fight the fear of writing and keeping deadlines. It is real fun to write a complete novel within those thirty days. Here is my review of NaNoWriMo

Lillie hit the nail on the head about brainstorming. She was an invaluable resource as well as a friend. We started with a general discussion of my goals for the book and proceded to lay out a path to accomplish those goals. She was a calming influence. When I got caught up in the story, she reminded me to provide the reader realistic expectations that a character would act a certain way, or a particular outcome would be a believable result of the story events. Thank you, Lillie
